Hall 6. «The echo of war»
The hall is located in the arch-corridor between the 5th and the 7th halls. The glass case is installed in the floor. It preserves the artifacts that witnessed the tragedy of war and the persistence and courage of the fortress defenders’ deed. The glass case contains pieces of military equipment, infantry weapons, artillery ammunition, daily life objects.
Large-format pictures talk about the destructions during the defense: “The white palace of the Brest Fortress. July 1941” (on the left), “Western part of the citadel. 1941” (on the right). This exposition is a symbolic road from the past to the present.
